We opened the show with breaking news coming from Alexandra VA, where a gunman opened fire on Republican congressional members as they attended an early morning baseball practice for a bipartisan game scheduled for tomorrow. The media didn’t waste time pandering and making this political. It was reported Democrats practicing on a nearby field heard the gunshots and stopped to pray.
We spent time discussing confirmation bias, something we all have. But when people claim to be unbiased, like WRAL, there is a sense of self-righteousness. The news coverage on the shooting demonstrates this bias. Instead of focusing on the hate driven media which has induced such anger, the left is going to blame the gun.
Dr. Terry Stoops joined us in the studio where we discussed Sen. Barefoot’s bill dealing with teacher training. Barefoot’s bill will allow individuals to teach who do not have a degree. Enrollment in schools of education is down across the country and NC is having a difficult time bring in teachers from different states. We also discussed with Terry school choice and NC Democrats who think school choice is against the African American interest.
